Sluice and studio1.1 are proud to announce a creative partnership. From May 2026 Sluice and studio1.1 will be undertaking a space share, both projects will deliver independent exhibition programmes, months split equally across the year.
Collaborative elements between projects will include a reading room / research centre, this will allow both Sluice and studio1.1 to showcase creative practices that extend beyond visual art – including writing, research, publishing and interdisciplinary work.
SluiceHQ is a space for artist and curator-led projects.

SluiceHQ began as a two year programme of exhibitions in a meanwhile space in Hackney, London. Sluice invited proposals to exhibit from artist and curator-led and collaborative practices. In this way SluiceHQ was envisaged as an incubator space.
